From a local one-man shop to a 100-person team across Canada

When Joe Murphy started this company in 1993 he imagined a future that could help him create opportunities for generations of people. Starting out in the oil heating business, Joe’s dedication found its footing in a technical and niche industry that was ripe for disruption – fuel and lubrication systems. With hard work, Joe grew what was then Fireball Equipment into a uniquely qualified Western Canadian leader in fuel and lube management system design and delivery.

Today, the company employs 100 people serving Canada’s largest oil sands, mine sites and national automotive and heavy equipment dealers. Along the way, Joe transitioned out of operations and in 2019 his son, Liam Murphy assumed leadership of the company. Liam embraced Joe’s legacy of care and quality and led the company to achieve record breaking results. In 2024 the company reaffirmed its commitment to setting the global standard of excellence in the fuel management business and changed it name to Innoflo to reflect its evolution.
