The GRACO MVP-150 Vapor Recovery Pump is an electric-powered, dual-diaphragm pump designed for hydrocarbon extraction processing, specifically for LP-Gas (liquefied petroleum gas) vapor recovery. It features stainless steel wetted parts and is intended for use in hazardous locations where reliable, safe vapor recovery is required.

Key Features:

  • Electric-powered, dual-diaphragm vapor recovery pump
  • MVP-150
  • Stainless steel wetted parts, PTFE or optional FKM fluoroelastomer diaphragms
  • LP-Gas vapor recovery rate: 6 cfm (0.17 m³/min); Butane recovery rate: 1.5 lb/min (0.68 kg/min); Propane recovery rate: 2 lb/min (0.9 kg/min)
  • Maximum pumping outlet pressure: 150 psi (1.03 MPa, 10.3 bar); Maximum pumping inlet vacuum: 27 inHg gauge (9.3 kPa absolute); Equipment withstand pressure: 375 psi (2.59 MPa, 25.9 bar)
  • Designed for LP-Gas (butane, propane) vapor recovery in hydrocarbon extraction processing
  • ATEX certified (for hazardous locations, model MVP-150-ATEX)
  • Hazardous location motor
  • Dual-diaphragm design for reliability
  • Stainless steel process pressure section and reed valves
  • Optional FKM fluoroelastomer diaphragms for wider temperature range
  • Low CO₂ consumption (<0.2 scfh)
  • Sound pressure: 80.5 dBA at 1 m

Applications:
Used for recovering and re-condensing LP-Gas vapors (butane, propane) in hydrocarbon extraction and processing environments, especially in hazardous locations.

Installation Notes:

  • Using genuine GRACO parts ensures optimal performance, safety, and compliance with hazardous location requirements.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with NEC and local codes
  • Properly ground the equipment
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines for hazardous location installation
  • Regularly inspect diaphragms and wetted parts for wear or damage
  • Use only recommended replacement parts
  • Monitor CO₂ consumption and pump performance
  • Check for leaks and abnormal noise
  • Refer to the manual for scheduled maintenance intervals
