The GRACO 26D885 is a pulsation dampener designed to absorb pressure fluctuations and reduce vibration in fluid transfer systems. It is constructed from polypropylene with polypropylene seats and a PTFE/Santoprene 2-piece diaphragm, making it suitable for use with a wide range of compatible fluids in industrial applications.
Key Features:
Pulsation Dampener
i-Series, 1 in. (25.4 mm)
Polypropylene (fluid section and seats), PTFE/Santoprene 2-piece diaphragm
Maximum flow rate: 50 GPM (189 L/min)
Maximum fluid pressure: 100 psi (0.69 MPa, 6.9 bar, 689 kPa)
Compatible with fluids that are chemically compatible with polypropylene and PTFE/Santoprene
Reduces pulsation and vibration in pipelines
Protects downstream equipment and extends system life
Minimizes noise, plumbing damage, and product degradation
Ensures smooth, steady flow with reduced cavitation and foaming
Made in the USA
Applications: Industrial fluid transfer systems requiring pulsation and vibration reduction, suitable for use in various industries including mining, agriculture, and manufacturing.
Installation Notes:
Using genuine GRACO parts ensures optimal performance, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems.
Check all connections to ensure they are tight and use a compatible liquid thread sealant on all male threads (do not overtighten)
Ensure the air breather or air exhaust line is securely connected to the air exhaust port on the top of the dampener
Set the air supply pressure to at least 10 psig (0.07 MPa, 0.7 bar) above the mean liquid discharge pressure for best performance
Always verify fluid compatibility with wetted and non-wetted parts before installation
Regularly inspect connections and diaphragms for wear or damage
Relieve all fluid pressure before performing maintenance by opening the fluid drain valve
Follow manufacturer guidelines for fluid and solvent compatibility
