• Grease the lapped surface of the valve plate and install with the lapped surface facing up
• Grease the bores of the center housing before installing carriage plungers
• Torque fasteners to 80–100 in-lb (9.0–13.6 N-m)
• Leave the center housing and air covers assembled during service unless otherwise required
