Pneumercator PK2-DM2 Probe 2" Direct Mount Kit, 2" 316 SS Bushing, PVDF Compression Fitting with Viton Seals – Probe Installation Accessory for MP45xS/MP55xS is a direct-mount probe hardware kit used to rigidly mount Pneumercator magnetostrictive tank gauging probes directly in a 2" tank opening for secure, bottom-supported installations.

Direct-Mount for Probes over 15 ft: PK2-DM2 is intended for applications where probe lengths exceed about 15 feet, providing a solid mechanical connection between the probe and tank top so the probe can rest on the tank bottom while remaining stable during filling, emptying, and turbulence.

2" 316 Stainless Steel Bushing: The kit includes a heavy-duty 2" NPT 316 stainless steel bushing that threads into the tank nozzle or manway, offering a corrosion-resistant mounting point suitable for fuel and many chemical storage tanks.

PVDF Cable Compression Fitting with Viton Seals: A PVDF-body cable compression fitting with Viton sealing elements grips and seals around the probe cable or shaft, helping minimize vapor release at the tank penetration while still allowing the probe to be raised or lowered for service.

Designed for MP45xS/MP55xS Probes: PK2-DM2 is part of Pneumercator’s PK2 family of mounting kits and is designed specifically for use with MP45xS and MP55xS series magnetostrictive probes when a rigid direct tank-top mount is preferred over a riser-mount “soft mount.”

For Vertical, Underground, and Sub-Base Tanks: Typical uses include vertical aboveground tanks, underground storage tanks, and generator sub-base tanks where accurate level gauging and leak detection require a stable, bottom-referenced probe installation through a 2" opening.
