Pneumercator RSU800-3 Dual-Float Reservoir Sensor for Fiberglass Double-Wall Tank Annular Space is a wet annular reservoir leak sensor designed to monitor brine or glycol in fiberglass double-wall tank reservoirs and detect breaches of the inner or outer tank wall.

Dual-Float High/Low Leak Detection: The RSU800-3 uses two magnetic floats and hermetically sealed reed switches to sense changes in reservoir liquid level, providing one alarm for rising level due to an inner wall leak and another for falling level due to an outer wall leak or loss of reservoir fluid.

Hydrostatic Reservoir Monitoring: In normal operation, the reservoir fluid level is maintained roughly mid-height on the sensor body; significant deviations above or below this band indicate a potential leak condition in the primary or secondary containment.

PVC and Buna-N Wetted Materials: The sensor’s wetted components are typically PVC with Buna-N floats, providing chemical compatibility with brine and glycol solutions commonly used in double-wall fiberglass tank reservoirs.

Secondary Containment Applications: RSU800-3 is intended for installation in the annular reservoir of fiberglass double-wall tanks to provide early indication of product leakage into the interstitial space or loss of monitoring fluid from the reservoir.

Simple Top-Entry Installation: The sensor is lowered through a minimum 3" PVC riser and rests on the reservoir floor, with the cable routed back to a Pneumercator TMS or leak alarm panel for continuous monitoring and alarm annunciation.
