• Only use oil appropriate for your application and operating temperature
• Do not overfill the reservoir
• Do not operate the pump without the reservoir attached
• Prime the pump only when first used or if it has run dry
• Loosen pump element fitting to prime, but do not loosen the pump element itself
• Tighten pump element fitting using two wrenches working in opposite directions
• Hand tighten fill cap securely
• Regularly check lubricant levels and refill as needed
• Inspect for leaks or damage
• Ensure all connections are secure
• Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning and maintenance
