Installation Notes:

• Clamp the U-bolt directly to the shaft support for 5-gallon tanks
• Ensure a minimum of 1 inch (2.5 cm) clearance on all sides of agitator blades
• Align the top of the paddle hub with the appropriate mark on the agitator shaft (upper mark if a pail is placed inside the tank, lower mark otherwise)
• Tighten the U-bolt to leave a 0.015 in. (0.006 mm) clearance gap between the thrust washer and the top of the shaft support
• Slide the baffle over the fluid tube and position it about 1/2 in. (13 mm) above the highest point on the agitator paddle, then clamp in place
• Regularly inspect seals and moving parts for wear; ensure proper alignment and clearance; use only compatible fluids and follow GRACO’s maintenance guidelines.
