Installation Notes:

• Using genuine GRACO parts ensures optimal pump performance, longevity, and safety. Non-genuine parts may compromise reliability and void warranties.
• Clamp the shaft flats in a vise before assembly
• Assemble the air side plate onto the diaphragm with the rounded side facing the diaphragm
• Apply medium-strength (blue) Loctite or equivalent to the threads of the diaphragm assembly and screw into the shaft hand-tight
• Apply lithium-based grease to the shaft u-cups and the length and ends of the diaphragm shaft before sliding the shaft into the housing
• Reattach the fluid cover and follow torque instructions in the manual
• To ensure proper seating and extend diaphragm life, attach the second fluid cover with air pressure on the pump (minimum 20 psi/0.14 MPa/1.4 bar)
• Use the supplied tool (104) where the air valve gasket normally goes, with arrows facing the attached fluid cover
