The GRACO 26C823 is a proximity switch designed for use with GRACO equipment, specifically as a feedback device for monitoring the cycling of Series-Progressive (SP) divider valves. It is typically constructed with robust materials suitable for industrial environments and is intended to provide reliable cycle indication signals to monitors, controllers, or PLCs, ensuring accurate monitoring and recording of lubrication cycles.
Key Features:
Proximity Switch (PNP, with flying leads)
26C823
Designed for use with GRACO Series-Progressive (SP) divider valves; compatible with Series A and B CSP valves when used with appropriate adapters
16.5 ft (5 m) cable with flying leads for flexible installation
Reliable signal transmission for cycle monitoring
Robust construction for industrial environments
Easy to install with proper adapters and torque settings
Applications: Used in industrial lubrication systems to monitor and record the cycling of Series-Progressive divider valves, providing feedback to controllers or PLCs for system monitoring and maintenance.
Installation Notes:
Using genuine GRACO parts ensures compatibility, reliability, and optimal performance of the lubrication system.
Thread the proximity switch onto the adapter and torque to 22–26 in-lbs (2.5–3 N•m) for cylindrical adapters; over-torquing can cause switch failure
For rectangular adapters, slide the switch into the adapter and tighten the set screw to 5–7 in-lbs (0.6–0.8 N•m)
Ensure correct adapter is used for the specific valve series (Series A or B CSP valve)
Mount the proximity switch assembly securely to the CSP valve
Regularly inspect the switch and cable for wear or damage
Ensure connections are secure and free from contamination
Follow manufacturer’s torque specifications during installation and maintenance
