• Install a clean filter basket and filter bag (if applicable) according to manufacturer instructions.
• Ensure the filter bag extends to the bottom of the basket for best results.
• Clean the cover gasket groove and replace the cover seal gasket if the cover has ever been tightened down.
• Close the cover and alternately tighten the three clamp assemblies to the recommended torque (30-45 ft-lb or 40-60 N•m).
• Before removing, cleaning, or servicing the filter, close the inlet and outlet ball valves and open the fluid drain valve to relieve pressure.
