The GRACO 563030 Lube-Line Alert is a flow monitoring device designed for use in force feed lubrication systems. It is constructed from robust materials suitable for industrial environments and is intended to indicate flow or no-flow at any point in the lubrication system ahead of its inlet, providing critical protection for compressors, pumps, engines, and other equipment.
Key Features:
Flow/no-flow monitoring device
N.C. Configuration w/Check Valves for 1/4 inch O.D. Tube, Standard Spring (installed), w/ Light Spring
Sensitive to a wide range of flow - from 0.006 to 190 cubic inches per minute
Up to 10,000 psi
Universal use - operates in any air-free force feed lubrication system, any make lubricator
UL and CSA Listed for Class I Groups C & D and Class II Groups E, F & G, Division 1 & 2 when installed as per NEC 501
Indicates flow or no-flow at any point ahead of the inlet
Not affected by discharge pressure
Operates under continuous or intermittent low-flow rates
Time delay adjustment for viscosity and/or flow rate
Quick and easy to adjust
Explosion-proof
Can be connected to any electrical warning system (lights, sound devices, machinery shut-off relays, telephones, etc.)
Applications: Used in compressors, pumps, engines, and other equipment employing force feed lubrication systems to provide positive protection by warning of flow stoppage for any reason, including low reservoir lubricant level, shaft rotation stoppage, or broken lines.
Installation Notes:
Ensures reliable operation, compatibility, and safety within GRACO and compatible lubrication systems.
Install as close to each point of lubrication as possible for optimal monitoring
Assemble in N.O. (normally open) or N.C. (normally closed) position as required by system design
Connect to the 110V control circuit side of motor starter for automatic system shutdown
Follow NEC 501 for explosion-proof installations
