The GRACO Husky 1050 is an air-operated double diaphragm pump designed for industrial fluid transfer. This specific configuration features an aluminum body, Datatrak aluminum center section, acetal seats, acetal balls, and PTFE diaphragm. It is intended for reliable, efficient transfer of water, antifreeze, fuels, and other compatible fluids in demanding environments.
Maximum free-flow delivery: 189 L/min (50 GPM); typical free flow in some configurations: 32 GPM (varies by setup and pressure)
Maximum fluid working pressure: 125 psi (8.6 bar, 0.86 MPa); some configurations list maximum pressure as 100 psi (7 bar, 0.7 MPa) or 50 psi (for fuel dispense with relief valve)
Water, antifreeze, fuels (including gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, lubricating oil), and other compatible fluids; UL listed for fuels and gasoline/alcohol blends up to 10% ethanol
UL listed for fuels and gasoline/alcohol blends up to 10% ethanol
Stall-free, low pulsation air valve for smooth and rapid changeover
Up to 5 times longer diaphragm life compared to other double diaphragm pumps in its class
30% more efficient than market leader
20% increase in fluid flow compared to Husky 1040
Reliable, robust construction for demanding environments
Ease of maintenance and serviceability
Applications: Industrial fluid transfer, including water, antifreeze, fuels (gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, lubricating oil), and other compatible fluids. Suitable for fuel dispense, lubrication systems, and general industrial pumping applications.
Installation Notes:
Using genuine GRACO parts ensures optimal performance, reliability, and safety. Non-genuine parts may compromise pump efficiency, longevity, and compliance with safety standards.
Ensure correct alignment of inlet and outlet ports (1" NPT for this model)
Use appropriate thread sealant for leak-free connections
Verify air supply meets pump requirements (1/2" NPT air inlet, up to 20 SCFM air consumption)
Check for proper grounding and safety measures when handling flammable fluids
Follow manufacturer’s guidelines for maximum suction lift and discharge pressure
Regularly inspect diaphragms, seats, and balls for wear and replace as needed
