Pneumercator PK2-DM1 Probe 2' Direct Mount Kit, 2" Cast Iron Bushing, Teflon-Sealed Cable Fitting is a direct-mount hardware kit for installing compatible Pneumercator magnetostrictive tank gauging probes directly into a 2" tank opening without a riser pipe.

Direct-Mount for Longer Probes: This kit is intended for use where the probe is bottom-supported in the tank and must be rigidly mounted at the tank top, providing a secure mechanical connection for longer probe lengths and reducing movement under filling or turbulence.

2" Cast Iron Tank Bushing: The PK2-DM1 includes a heavy-duty 2" NPT cast iron bushing that threads into the tank manway or nozzle, providing a robust threaded interface for the probe shaft and top hardware.

Teflon-Sealed Cable/Probe Connection: A compression fitting with Teflon sealing elements grips the probe cable or shaft to maintain a tight seal at the tank opening, helping reduce vapor escape and product splash while allowing service access when needed.

For MP45xS/MP55xS Series Probes: The direct-mount kit is designed for use with selected Pneumercator MP45xS and MP55xS series magnetostrictive probes where a direct tank-top mount is preferred over a riser-mount “soft mount.”

Typical Applications: Use the PK2-DM1 for vertical storage tanks, underground tanks, and sub-base tanks where a 2" top opening is available and a rigid, direct-mounted probe installation is required for accurate level and leak detection performance.
