• Ensure the shaft assembly is properly inserted and the outer tube hex nut is tightened with a large wrench
• Install the gasket to the male end of the drive shaft before threading the rotor
• Use food grade lubricant on the stator to aid insertion
• Align the alignment tab on the stator tube with the recess on the stator during assembly
• Attach the motor over the coupler and tighten the nut hand tight
• Attach the ground wire to the lower unit as specified in the manual
• Regularly inspect and clean all wetted parts
• Check and tighten all connections as needed
