The compact vertical float design makes it ideal for shallow liquid levels in sumps, dispenser pans, manways, turbine enclosures, and double-wall tank interstitial spaces.

Non-Discriminating Vertical Float Design: The LS600-LDBN uses a magnetic Buna-N float on a brass stem to actuate a hermetically sealed reed switch when liquid reaches the sensor, providing a simple, reliable “wet/dry” leak alarm irrespective of whether the liquid is water or product. The sensor can be suspended by its cable at the desired actuation point or allowed to rest on the containment floor for low-profile monitoring.

Rugged Construction for Fuel Environments: Wetted materials include a Buna-N float, brass stem, and stainless steel/nylon housing, providing broad compatibility with petroleum fuels and many common site liquids. The standard assembly includes a 25 ft (7.6 m) PVC-jacketed, 2-conductor 22 AWG cable, allowing flexible routing back to the leak alarm console.

System Integration & Approvals: The LS600-LDBN integrates with Pneumercator LC2000 and TMS series consoles, as well as other approved tank monitoring panels. It is UL/cUL listed for Class I, Div 1 / Zone 0 hazardous locations when installed per code and may be ordered with optional FAULT-DETECT supervised wiring versions for automatic field wiring fault detection in supported consoles.
