The GRACO 16Y705 KIT, REPAIR, REGULATOR is a replacement gas regulator kit designed for use with the ThermoLazer ProMelt™ Pavement Marking System. It is intended to ensure safe and controlled propane gas flow within the system, specifically for the ProMelt Model 24H624 (Series D). The kit is used to replace the existing gas regulator to maintain proper pressure and prevent uncontrolled gas release.

Installation Notes:

  • Using genuine GRACO parts ensures proper fit, function, and safety, reducing the risk of equipment failure and hazardous gas leaks.
  • Close propane tank valve before installation
  • Disconnect gas supply hose from both the propane tank and manifold
  • Apply pipe sealant and reconnect gas supply hose to manifold and propane tank
  • Open propane tank valve after installation
  • Check for leaks and verify gauge PSI (should read 3 PSI ± 1)
  • If pressure is higher than 4 PSI, slightly open torch valve and recheck
  • Regularly inspect regulator and hoses for wear or damage
  • Follow all safety instructions in the manual
  • Ensure regulator is installed with gas flow in the proper direction to prevent uncontrolled release of propane gas
