The GRACO DU2666 is an air-operated double diaphragm pump constructed primarily from polypropylene, with a stainless steel center section and Santoprene seats, balls, and diaphragm. It is designed for remote operation and is intended for transferring a wide range of fluids in industrial applications, offering robust performance in harsh environments.
Key Features:
Air-operated double diaphragm pump
Husky 1590, 1-1/2" NPT
Polypropylene body, stainless steel center section, Santoprene seats, balls, and diaphragm
Maximum free flow delivery: 100 gpm (378.5 lpm) (Note: Some sources list up to 150 gpm for similar models, but official GRACO documentation specifies 100 gpm for Husky 1590 PP)
Maximum fluid working pressure: 120 psi (8.4 bar, 0.84 MPa)
Compatible with a wide range of industrial fluids, especially those requiring chemical resistance and durability
Patented, high-reliability closed center air valve (online serviceable)
Epoxy-coated air section for tough environmental conditions
Externally accessible air valve for quick, easy maintenance without uninstalling the pump
Up to 5 times longer diaphragm life compared to other air-operated diaphragm pumps in its class
Fewer parts than industry peers, enhancing reliability and ease of maintenance
Applications: Ideal for transferring chemicals, solvents, and abrasive or viscous fluids in industries such as mining, agriculture, chemical processing, and general industrial maintenance. Suitable for remote or hard-to-access locations due to its remote pump configuration.
Installation Notes:
Using genuine GRACO parts ensures optimal performance, reliability, and safety. Non-genuine parts may compromise pump efficiency and longevity.
Ensure proper alignment and secure mounting to prevent vibration and leaks
Use appropriate fittings and gaskets for the intended fluid and pressure
Follow GRACO’s recommended maintenance schedule for air valve and diaphragm inspection
Check for correct air supply and exhaust port connections (3/4" NPT female for exhaust)
Regularly inspect and clean the pump and its components
Replace worn or damaged diaphragms, seats, and balls promptly
Monitor for leaks and unusual noises during operation
Consult the GRACO manual for specific installation and troubleshooting guidance
