Pneumercator MP450S-114-21 316 SS Magnetostrictive Rigid Probe, Single-Float Product Gauging with Integrated Thermistor Temperature Sensor - (SKU: MP450S-114-21)

Pneumercator MP450S-114-21 316 SS Magnetostrictive Rigid Probe, Single-Float Product Gauging with Integrated Thermistor Temperature Sensor - (SKU: MP450S-114-21) is a rigid magnetostrictive level probe designed for accurate product level measurement and temperature monitoring in fuel and chemical storage tanks. It is intended for installations where a single product float and one built-in thermistor provide the required level and temperature feedback from a single tank penetration.

Single-Float Magnetostrictive Product Gauging: The MP450S-114-21 uses magnetostrictive technology with one guided float to provide high‑resolution continuous level measurement along the probe shaft. This allows the connected monitoring system to display product height, calculate volume and ullage, and support configurable high or low level alarms.

Integrated Thermistor Temperature Sensing: In addition to level, the probe incorporates a thermistor temperature sensor mounted in the probe assembly to measure product temperature at the tank. This temperature signal can be used for temperature-compensated inventory, product quality monitoring, and alarm or control functions that depend on process temperature.

316 Stainless Steel Rigid Construction: The MP450S-114-21 features a 316 stainless steel shaft with compatible float and wetted components, providing corrosion resistance and durability in demanding fuel and chemical storage environments. The rigid probe design maintains stable float guidance and accurate positioning throughout the measuring range.

Typical Applications: This probe is suitable for gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, and compatible chemical tanks where continuous product level and a single temperature measurement are required. When integrated with a Pneumercator tank monitoring or control system, it supports inventory tracking, level alarm functions, and basic temperature monitoring from one compact sensor assembly.
