Pneumercator MP450S-116-21 316 SS Magnetostrictive Rigid Probe, 10–132" Adjustable Length Range, Single-Float Product Gauging with Temperature Sensing - (SKU: MP450S-116-21)

Pneumercator MP450S-116-21 316 SS Magnetostrictive Rigid Probe, 10–132" Adjustable Length Range, Single-Float Product Gauging with Temperature Sensing - (SKU: MP450S-116-21) is a rigid magnetostrictive level probe designed for accurate product level measurement and temperature monitoring over a wide usable length range. It is intended for applications where a single probe style must accommodate multiple tank depths between approximately 10" and 132" within the MP450S series envelope.

Magnetostrictive Product Level Gauging: The MP450S-116-21 uses magnetostrictive technology with a guided float to provide high‑resolution continuous level measurement along the active portion of the probe shaft. This allows a connected monitoring system to display product height, calculate volume and ullage, and support configurable high and low level alarms.

Wide 10–132" Length Capability: Within its design envelope, the probe can be specified or configured for various tank depths between 10" and 132" (subject to model and installation details), making it suitable for a range of small to mid‑size tanks. This flexibility supports standardization on a single probe family across multiple vessels with different working heights.

Integrated Temperature Sensing: In addition to level, the probe includes an internal temperature sensing element to measure product temperature at the tank. This signal can be used for temperature-compensated inventory, product quality checks, and alarm or control functions that depend on process temperature.

316 Stainless Steel Rigid Construction: The MP450S-116-21 features a 316 stainless steel shaft and compatible wetted materials for corrosion resistance and long service life in demanding fuel and chemical storage environments. The rigid design ensures stable float guidance and precise sensing over the full active length.

Typical Applications: This probe is suitable for gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, and compatible chemical tanks that require continuous level measurement and temperature feedback in a variety of depths. When integrated with Pneumercator tank monitoring systems, it supports inventory tracking, level alarms, temperature monitoring, and basic compliance functions through a single tank penetration.
