Pneumercator MP450S-124-11 316 SS Magnetostrictive Rigid Probe for 10' Diameter Tank, Tank-Mount Riser, Single-Float Product Gauging with Bottom Water Detection - (SKU: MP450S-124-11)

Pneumercator MP450S-124-11 316 SS Magnetostrictive Rigid Probe for 10' Diameter Tank, Tank-Mount Riser, Single-Float Product Gauging with Bottom Water Detection - (SKU: MP450S-124-11) is a rigid magnetostrictive level gauging probe designed for accurate product level measurement and bottom water detection in 10-foot diameter petroleum storage tanks. It is arranged for installation through a tank-mounted riser, providing reliable measurement from a dedicated gauge opening.

Single-Float Magnetostrictive Product Gauging: The MP450S-124-11 uses magnetostrictive technology with a guided product float to provide high‑resolution continuous level measurement over the full active length of the probe. When connected to a compatible monitoring console, it delivers precise product height information suitable for inventory management, ullage calculations, and configurable high and low level alarms.

Bottom Water Detection: In addition to product gauging, the probe includes a bottom water sensing capability positioned near the tank floor to detect accumulated water at the product–water interface. This allows the monitoring system to distinguish between fuel and water, enabling water‑in‑tank alarms and maintenance planning to protect fuel quality and downstream equipment.

316 Stainless Steel Tank-Mount Riser Design: The MP450S-124-11 features a 316 stainless steel shaft and compatible float materials for corrosion resistance and long service life in demanding fuel storage environments. It is sized for 10' diameter tanks and configured for mounting through a tank riser using appropriate bushings or flanges to ensure proper support, alignment, and immersion depth.

Typical Applications: This probe is well suited to gasoline, diesel, and other refined product tanks where accurate product gauging and bottom water monitoring are required in larger horizontal or vertical tanks. Integrated with a tank management system, it supports inventory tracking, overfill protection, water‑in‑tank alarms, and in‑tank leak detection on compatible installations.
