Pneumercator MP450S-148-21 316 SS Magnetostrictive Rigid Probe for 10' Diameter Tank, Tank-Mount Riser/Direct Mount, Product Gauging with Integrated Temperature Sensing – (SKU: MP450S-148-21)

Pneumercator MP450S-148-21 316 SS Magnetostrictive Rigid Probe for 10' Diameter Tank, Tank-Mount Riser/Direct Mount, Product Gauging with Integrated Temperature Sensing – (SKU: MP450S-148-21) is a stainless steel magnetostrictive rigid level probe designed for accurate product level measurement and temperature monitoring in 10-foot diameter storage tanks. It is suitable for installation either through a tank-mounted riser or by direct top-mounting on the tank.

Magnetostrictive Product Gauging: The MP450S-148-21 uses magnetostrictive sensing with a guided float to provide high‑resolution continuous product level measurement along the active probe length. When connected to a compatible monitoring console, it delivers precise product height information to support inventory management, ullage calculations, and configurable high/low level alarms.

Integrated Temperature Sensing: A built‑in temperature sensing element within the probe assembly provides a representative product temperature signal from the tank. This enables temperature‑compensated inventory calculations, basic product quality checks, and temperature‑dependent alarm or control logic within the monitoring system.

Tank-Mount Riser or Direct-Mount Installation: The probe is arranged for flexible mounting either through a tank riser using appropriate fittings or directly to the tank top, allowing it to adapt to different tank connection styles while maintaining proper immersion depth and float travel.

Rigid 316 Stainless Steel Construction: The MP450S-148-21 features a rigid 316 stainless steel shaft with compatible wetted materials, providing corrosion resistance and mechanical durability in typical fuel and light chemical storage environments to help ensure stable, repeatable measurement performance over time.

Sized for 10' Diameter Tanks: Overall probe length is selected for use in 10' diameter tanks, providing coverage of the normal working product height while maintaining suitable clearance from the tank bottom and accommodating standard mounting elevations.

Typical Applications: This probe is suited for gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, and similar refined product tanks requiring continuous product level monitoring and a single temperature point from one tank penetration, supporting inventory tracking and alarm functions in aboveground or underground installations.
