Pneumercator MP461SA-197-21 316 SS Flexible Magnetostrictive Probe, 2-Float Capable, 1 Thermistor – for Product and Interface Gauging with Temperature Sensing – (SKU: MP461SA-197-21)

Pneumercator MP461SA-197-21 316 SS Flexible Magnetostrictive Probe, 2-Float Capable, 1-Thermistor – (SKU: MP461SA-197-21) is a flexible magnetostrictive level probe designed for applications requiring simultaneous product level and interface (water or second liquid) detection along with integrated temperature measurement, using a two-float, one-thermistor configuration.

Dual-Float Product and Interface Gauging: The MP461SA-197-21 is capable of supporting two guided floats on the flexible sensing element, enabling independent measurement of product level and water/second-liquid interface. This allows a compatible monitoring system to track total product height and separate interface height for accurate inventory, interface alarms, and water-in-tank detection in bulk fuel or chemical storage.

Integrated Thermistor Temperature Sensing: A built-in thermistor provides a dedicated temperature signal from within the tank, supporting temperature-compensated inventory calculations, basic product quality checks, and temperature-based alarm or control functions through the connected tank monitoring console.

Flexible Probe Construction: The MP461SA-197-21 uses a flexible magnetostrictive sensing assembly with 316 stainless steel and compatible wetted materials, allowing installation in tall or geometrically constrained tanks where rigid probes are not practical, while providing corrosion resistance and long-term measurement stability.

Typical Applications: This probe is suited for bulk fuel tanks, chemical tanks, and other vertical storage vessels that require continuous product and interface gauging along with a single temperature point, particularly where top access is available but straight riser length limits the use of rigid probes.
