Pneumercator PK2-DM3 Probe 2" Direct Mount Kit, 2" Stainless Steel Bushing, All Stainless Steel Compression Fitting – Probe Installation Accessory for MP45xS/MP55xS – (SKU: PK2-DM3)

Pneumercator PK2-DM3 Probe 2" Direct Mount Kit, 2" Stainless Steel Bushing, All Stainless Steel Compression Fitting – Probe Installation Accessory for MP45xS/MP55xS is a direct-mount hardware kit for installing Pneumercator magnetostrictive tank gauging probes directly into a 2" tank opening with full stainless steel wetted components.

Direct-Mount for Longer Probes: PK2-DM3 is intended for applications where the probe is bottom-supported and where probe lengths typically exceed 15 feet, providing a rigid mechanical connection at the tank top so the probe remains stable during filling, emptying, and agitation.

2" 316 Stainless Steel Bushing: The kit includes a robust 2" NPT 316 stainless steel bushing that threads into the tank nozzle or manway, delivering a corrosion-resistant, pressure-rated mounting point suitable for fuel, oils, and many compatible chemicals.

All Stainless Steel Compression Fitting: An all stainless steel cable/probe compression fitting clamps and seals around the probe shaft or cable, helping to limit vapor release and product splash at the tank penetration while still allowing the probe to be raised or removed for inspection and service.

Compatible with MP45xS/MP55xS Probes: PK2-DM3 is part of the PK2 direct-mount family and is designed for use with Pneumercator MP45xS and MP55xS series magnetostrictive probes when a rigid direct tank-top mount with full stainless construction is required.

For Vertical, Underground, and Sub-Base Tanks: Typical applications include vertical aboveground tanks, underground storage tanks, and generator sub-base tanks where accurate level gauging and leak detection demand a stable, bottom-referenced probe installation through a 2" opening.

Installation and Service Advantages: Using a direct-mount kit with stainless bushing and compression fitting improves probe stability, supports long probe runs, enhances corrosion resistance, and keeps all mounting hardware at the tank top for simplified installation, inspection, and maintenance.
