Pneumercator PK2-RM2 Probe 2" Riser Mount Kit, Schedule 80 PVC Screw Cap with Stainless Steel Compression Fitting – Probe Installation Accessory for MP45xS/MP55xS – (SKU: PK2-RM2)

Pneumercator PK2-RM2 Probe 2" Riser Mount Kit, Schedule 80 PVC Screw Cap with Stainless Steel Compression Fitting – Probe Installation Accessory for MP45xS/MP55xS is a riser-mount probe kit that provides a “soft-mount” method of installing Pneumercator magnetostrictive tank gauging probes in a 2" riser pipe for easy positioning and service.

Soft-Mount Riser Installation up to 15 ft: The PK2-RM series allows the probe to rest on the tank bottom while being stabilized within the riser without rigid attachment, and is suitable for MP45xS/MP55xS probe lengths up to about 15 feet for vertical, underground, and sub-base tanks.

Schedule 80 PVC Cap Assembly: PK2-RM2 uses a heavy-wall Schedule 80 PVC 2" NPT cap that threads onto the riser pipe, providing a durable, corrosion-resistant closure suitable for typical fuel and other compatible liquid applications.

Stainless Steel Compression Entry: This model includes a stainless steel compression-style entry that grips and seals around the probe cable, helping minimize vapor release at the riser top while still allowing the probe to be raised, lowered, or removed for service.

For MP45xS/MP55xS Magnetostrictive Probes: The PK2-RM2 kit is designed specifically for Pneumercator MP45xS and MP55xS series magnetostrictive probes installed in 2" riser pipes at sufficient height to accommodate the cap and cable loop.

Typical Applications: Common uses include vertical storage tanks, underground storage tanks, and generator sub-base tanks where a suspended probe installation provides accurate level monitoring while protecting the probe from tank-bottom damage.

Installation Benefits: The riser-mount design keeps all hardware at the top of the riser for convenient access, simplifies probe installation and servicing by loosening the cap and adjusting the cable, and provides a clean, sealed riser termination for long-term reliability.
